B. Teacher Work Year
193 contract days for teachers new to the district or the profession
District removed weekly early releases, our contract already outlining a return to three in-service days
Work Day for grade K-8 will be the last Friday in April. SHS work day will be in place of spring conferences.
For the 2025-2026 school year, the workweek schedule will provide one hour of time for the purpose of collaborating on student achievement.
C. Teacher Workday
Principals must communicate to teachers and their supervisors, what evening events are required (including tentative dates)
Must be shared during in-service week
One month of notice required for any changes (exceptions made of things out of admin control)
The SFEA president will receive a list of required activities at each building
D. Teacher Prep Time
K-12 classroom teachers will receive the substitute rate of pay when classes are combined due to the inability to acquire a substitute.
J. An adaptation for departmentalized schools

Article 16 - Leave With Pay
Accruded sick leave has been expanded to include attending to a mental or physical illness/event, injury or health condition or need for preventative care to attend to the illness or medical appointment of a family member, the same expanded definition applies to the use of the sick bank.
Building ratios for personal leave has been specified to licensed staff (this includes principals)
Five (5) days of bereavement leave has been expanded to include any individual related by blood or affinity whose close association with a covered individual is the equivalent of a family relationship.
Article 19 - Class Size
Specification that class size targets also include specialists case loads
Article 22 - Insurance Benefits
2025-2026 - $25 increase to $1,725, opt out increased to $550.

For 2025-26, traditional and PEER schedules will increase by 2.5% COLA
Supervision: $23.25/hr and Extended Contract: $31.04/hr
Addendum B - Extra Duty Salary Schedule
Two positions were added: Instructional Coach (Level 3) and District Testing Coordinator (Level 4)
The extra duty schedule was also increased by the 2.5% COLA
